Just a question for you seasoned 'eliters'. If i found two snakes could would I have to do two transactions or could i buy two snakes and 8-10 other comparables?
I know Tesco is capped but reading the front it seems this would work wouldn't it?
I'm seeing peoples shopping list that suggests this may be possible i.e. buy snakes and lynxes together.
People have posted that two is the best way to purchase, but it is a really high APG so you may not remain under the radar.
I think I read a post about a home delivery that one showed one snake when they had two.
Don't gamble more than you can afford to loose (but they will be great for Xmas)

i really must agree. because if you get two chocs or biscuits which return £2 each plus the 10% you are getting an apg of £4.60 which means £1.80 for each of the 2 chocs or biscuits plus trigger item. to me they are not worth the bother and i havent bothered getting any at all.
asda need to put their choc and biccie prices up!! :T
Has anyone seen the new Xmas choc's the £10 £15 box ones there in store on multi buy? Might remember to go take pics of display this week to check against .comIgnore reality. There's nothing you can do about it.
I have done reading too!

Morning all
I don’t post that much but read the thread with wry amusement, always hit thanks when the post has helped, answered my question or just made me laugh. If I think I have something useful for the team then I will share it. Also i have always had any questions I have asked answered (thanks). Some might label me a “lurker” a title I’m not overly keen on as I am always logged in and visible on site and the main reason I keep posts to a minimum is that I have chronic rheumatoid arthritis and my hands can be very painful.
After the discussions of the last few nights I would just like to say that in my opinion all these supermarkets have a duty to themselves, if they do not wish to spend their profits on training, improved IT etc to help themselves, I for one do not intend to give them any grace when they do not “get their act together”.
I certainly am not worried (as some suggested we should be) about having my car reg picked up in the car park, my face on CCTV and using my credit card and I definitely do not intend to walk to the supermarket, always pay cash and wear a Berka to avoid it!
I recall from some basic law course, back in the day when the star shone over Bethlehem, that Sale of Goods/Contract law is kind of two parts, an item on a shelf displaying a price is “an invitation to treat” the shopper then takes this item to purchase it (till/checkout) and offers to buy it at said price the seller then agrees or declines the offer, which is the point the contract is made, by the sellers acceptance.
Now to real reason for my post
I’ve just read on grabbit that there is a double up on cc vouchers for finest wines......anyone have any idea if I used this on a few meal deal if it would recognise the pre meal deal price of the wine?
So if I bought 2 meal deals wine @ 7.99 ea and used a £5 voucher boosted to £10? If so looks like I’m shopping again this afternoon! :rotfl:

I've done it and had no problem. Only thing is it will produce an APG of approx £15 which may be scrutinized...but I had no problem using it
Whats the worst they could do? I mean their system has produced the comparison. At the moment tried 2 snakes over 2 transactions. If it works may go and get some more snakes.
About lynx i filled my shed with deodrants and shower gel back in 2010 when the tesco double price guarantee was rife (that was some shopping lol) and still have tons of shower gel.
The only reason I could possibly explain in getting lynx would be to car boot... but thinking logically say you get 75p for each shower gel each asda shop would net you £7.50 at a car boot sale but would require you to A) go there andsell reams of the same product so you would have to be a regular car boot sale person to make it useful.
Only other thing I could think of would be making toilertry gift sets for friends at xmas maybe.0 -
