I did see the picture and I can't say what made me laugh the most as if DD2 reads this I would be not be flavour of the month. But what one of the boys was doing did make me giggle. And these are future doctors.
I'm pretty sure they are all just friends as she did ring me up for relationship advice about another boy the other week.
I actually think that it is very healthy for both sexes to get along very well as friends I think it looks towards a brighter future for humanity.
Totally agree. I sometimes envy the way my youngest kids relationships with their friends. The stuff they talk about these days, we wouldn't discuss with friends a generation ago. It's more 'open' these days and I personally think this is good. I hear my youngest boy on his Xbox talking to his mates about ALL sorts of things. Technology and progress.0 -
wrapped in tinfoil stuck in the middle of a bonfire
oooh the burnt fingers n black skin are all forgotten when you take your first bite
Ooooh, that brings back memories, when I was a child the whole neighbourhood would get together in one garden, we would have a massive bonfire party with a massive bonfire, always with baked potatoes in the middle, and there would be loads of fireworks because everyone contributed. Those baked potatoes tasted sooooo good on a cold bonfire night and us kids always had a wonderful timeWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I am a cheese & beans fan. And tuna mayo isn't bad either0

THIS! Nomnomnom.
I think you can tell how much we all want things back to normal based on the amount of potato discussion :rotfl:
Did anyone else used to have fried mash? My mum used to do it as a treat for me when I was little as I didn't like normal mash
Yep, as part of a fresh pan of Bubble and Squeak. Just the smell of it in the pan..yummy0 -

Still do - I make corned beef hash as a treat, fry up the corned beef for a couple of minutes then add the mash, and the mash has to be burned to a crisp on the bottomWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
