Totally agree and it was always a decision for me and the wifey that we wouldnt buy phones until they are much older but unfortunately technology / kids didnt keep pace with our decision and decided to move on at a faster pace.
I once got a call from my sister to say my eldest had text her...at 9:30pm :eek:...baring in mind she had been in bed since 8:30...the phone was taken off her at 6pm and returned the next day after school...sentence served for one month strict...never happened since. A lot of our family say Im too strict on my girls but I see it more as strong foundations. They dont swear, they use their Ps and Qs, they always have their homework done (with more set by me which they actually love), eat as a family nearly every night and are in bed on time every night. Yet my neices stay up until they fall asleep, refuse to eat dinner, slap their mums etc...yet still Im the over baring parent...Ya know what, Im proud of who my kids are...
Dont know why Im baring my soul so much tonight but there ya go lol....0 -

Thank you in advance for anyone who can help me with this.:)Well its that old adage do you bake or microwave.
The impatient person in me says microwave as maybe its more fuel efficient but Im probably wrong. Someone will probably be along shortly who may know whether ten mins microwaving each potato is cheaper than four say in the oven for 2 hours
I only ever have beans on mine.
Any favourite flavours0 -

I may not see her will be asleep when they get here and more than likely have gone mums when they wake. So unless she still here lunchtime I will miss her.
Best was when he fetched second girlfriend home first was called Kerry she lived in Bristol and came up visiting twice . Second was called Jess and I kept standing at bottom of the stairs shouting up when Jess was here. 'Kerry lol by mistake DS went mad :rotfl::rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
My OH called DS1 girlfriend the same name as DS1's first love.... he was in bother.
OH got so anxious about getting the name wrong he carried on using the wrong name. The funniest thing is that the first love has a typical English name, and the girlfriend has a name we cannot pronounce!
I don't know if other mums have the same problems as me. But I never like the girlfriends until the son/s finish with them and then I love them!:p:p:p
