It's good to have a discussion about morals. I got a brand match once and returned the item. I used the brand match to buy food for the food bank but yes I suppose it was wrong. I haven't done it again. You only know where your line is by reaching it.

That said, what others do in the name of money saving is nobody's business but their own. We're not Team Elite, world police.

It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Frequent, glad your still posting and sticking around.

I think you have made your point.

Regarding your pension, I would be more inclined to vent my anger at Ts. This is a blatant case of a badly thought out business offering. I was a Marketing Director before I had children. If I had messed up the way the marketing and other business resource managers do, time and time again, at Ts, I'd have been out of the door in a second. Unfortunately, as with many large organisations, the senior execs. sit happily in their isolated office, with their large salaries blaming everyone below them.

If Ts would spend a little more on their IT development they should be able to block the use of the first time shopper code. All they have to do is state that it is one code per address and then use the house number and postcode to enforce the limitation.

With regard to people taking the P. I think it is up to the individual as to how far they are prepared to push boundaries. You have warned them, fair enough. The rest is up to them. If they want to take the risk, they will pay the price.

I see plenty of posts and money saving tactics used that I do not partake in e.g. buying things from Sainsbury's just to get a brand match, then taking the item back. This is theft as far as I am concerned, it equates to literally stealing money from the company. Also DTDs, I did two intentional ones before realising that I did not feel right about it. However, if someone else chooses to do it, that is up to them.

I just wanted to add these points to highlight the fact that there are many opinions on this thread. You may not agree with them. That is your prerogative. However, it is just that, your opinion and others have their own.

The point your raise about T's IT system not being robust enough to detect multiple use ( or fraud), is one of the issue's I raised with MR T on the phone yesterday.

They were very apologetic, and said they would be sending on the details of my report, to the loss prevention team for further investigation.

This may go against the grain, but i'm not going to sit here and watch people rob my fund without responding.
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

Am aware of other people reading, so what.

I know this will give fuel to people who say "I have a life so I'm not going to sit and search your posts, frequent" but this took no time at all. I'm sure I could dig for more but really what is the point?

Others will try and say I am bullying/picking on him by bringing these posts to the forefront of the discussion but I'm just responding to his newly found holier than thou attitude

By all means point out the dangers of (over) doing a thing to people  I think a few people are in danger of appearing on a few radars soon :(
