It's not 'illogical' - instead, it's perfectly logical that a system could update a number of times during the course of the same day and that the price file, holding prices for that day, could change with that update albeit it is still the price file for that date. Thus entry of the receipt at one point in the day may return a different result to an entry at a later time on that same date. Surely the big 'cheese' glitch of last April proves the point?
Those who entered before 12.25pm (or whenever it was) got a comparison from the multibuy no-show pricing, those entered, from shops done on the same date, some may have been checked out slightly earlier in time but entered slightly later (people may have been unable to get to the computer to enter bang on the three hour time), got a comparison that didn't glitch. The 'hard evidence' may be there somewhere, on the thread of last April, where people posted the time of their shop and posted at certain points on the thread saying their comp. just entered has worked/not worked (perhaps some left the time that they entered the receipt or, by time-marking on their posts on the MSE thread referred to it in a way that could be calculated and worked out when they actually entered). Anyway, they did shops on the same date and entered at different times (inevitably as the three hour periods expired at different points) on the same date and some got different results to others.

Well that's me stuffed then:rotfl::rotfl:.
I work off pure logic, as you all know, and the exact picture of when and where comparisons change, or don't, is so complex that it can only fully be held in Savvy's mind and I could never explain it all without something getting missed:).0 -
I did post this a while back on here but one time they took my receipt off me and when I was finally told to go to,the customer service they were busy doing it again and could n t believe their eyes when the same amount came up lol in band camp....davemorton wrote: »Please continueIgnore reality.There's nothing you can do about it.
