Well that's odd as mine have always returned the results expected (even if its not what was expected due to a !!!! up iyswim). I've yet to see any hard evidence of what you speak of, and it is illogical as the price file for that point in time can't change subsequently.

It's happened a few times, I remember because it happened to me. Can't remember what the item in question was now? Those who entered APGs on the day whatever it was glitched got their glitchy APG. People who left it until the next day (me) didn't.
I think I remember 2 other occasions it's happened as well. Like I said not a regular occurrence......but it wouldn't happen to me again. I always lock it in ASAP now :)

I've just found a small glitch on squash,
I bought 2x 1.5ltr apple & blackcurrant no added sugar in Asda
APG compared to tesco at £1.90

I just checked tesco and they are the same price as Asda but msm have them down as 95p each

I have been to four large As today - only one has a SEL or space for Snakes or Fajita - back to my original store and loitering round the loading area as the new stock comes in. Still no sign of Snakes . May have to go as staff are starting to give me funny looks :o.

Looks like a wasted evening :(.

But not quite - kids cereals including Dorsets simply fruity/nutty/delicious muesli, normal 3 for £3 cereals plus 24 wheat bisks and 750g malted Wheaties down to £1 a pack 24/10-13/11 according to the set up sheet :).

There have been occasions when the time entered has made a difference. It hasn't happened often, but it has happened
    :D

Always wanted to do a big red AAU cross :)

    And well played too :T

We've seen plenty of occasions when the time of inputting mattered

If only I'd have kept records of every receipt I've ever entered, the exact time of the entry into the APG and the full APG result...:rotfl:

It's not 'illogical' - instead, it's perfectly logical that a system could update a number of times during the course of the same day and that the price file, holding prices for that day, could change with that update albeit it is still the price file for that date. Thus entry of the receipt at one point in the day may return a different result to an entry at a later time on that same date. Surely the big 'cheese' glitch of last April proves the point?

Those who entered before 12.25pm (or whenever it was) got a comparison from the multibuy no-show pricing, those entered, from shops done on the same date, some may have been checked out slightly earlier in time but entered slightly later (people may have been unable to get to the computer to enter bang on the three hour time), got a comparison that didn't glitch. The 'hard evidence' may be there somewhere, on the thread of last April, where people posted the time of their shop and posted at certain points on the thread saying their comp. just entered has worked/not worked (perhaps some left the time that they entered the receipt or, by time-marking on their posts on the MSE thread referred to it in a way that could be calculated and worked out when they actually entered). Anyway, they did shops on the same date and entered at different times (inevitably as the three hour periods expired at different points) on the same date and some got different results to others.
