Just had my invite from T spend £130 every week for the next 4 weeks and we will send you a £70 money off bonus coupon in time for christmas
Are they having a laugh, I have never ever spent that much in a week
:eek::eek:
Going to have to do some work on this to see if it is doable, doubt it though, anyone with any ideas ?0 -
Afternoon all

Did everyone get the mailing from Ts for the bonus Christmas voucher? I have to spend £90 per week :rotfl: with a voucher for£45 off a £90 spend at the end. There's not much in the way of terms and conditions - all it says is you have to "spend" £90 in total each week .... not that you must keep everything you have boughtalso it doesn't say, that I can see, that the purchase of gift cards is excluded
;);)
What is everyone's thinking on this?? I could never normally spend £90 per week there, but would happily do a bit of shuffling with gift cards or clothing returns to get the voucher at the end
I was thinking, maybe
Week 1 - Buy one £100 Tes gift card - spend met
Week 2 - Use the gift card to buy £90+ clothes - spend met
Week 3 - Return ill-fittingclothes and refund goes back on giftcard - spend another £90+ on clothes and pay with giftcard - spend met
Week 4 - same as week 3, then later return clothes - spend met and still left with £100 on Tes giftcard at the end to use when the voucher comes through.
Obviously sounds too good to be true but could possibly work based on the vague Ts&Cs:rotfl: also if it doesn't work and the voucher doesn't get produced, I haven't lost anything as I still have the giftcard at the end - of course you could always just use cash right from the start and not faff with the giftcard. I only used that example as it covered the week one spend threshold
I love the sneakiness of this plan, hope it works!'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

Spot the difference  Both on T.com now

One means a meal deal costing £10, one means you will sadly be charged £18.xx
I now know the answer, but luckily T staff don't seem to know the difference, so I think this DTD may be reasonably widely available.0 -

Yay it's the weekend :T
My poor lil man has still got an awful cough, does anyone have any tips on helping him rest in the night time, his sleep is so disturbed :(I've tried a steamy bathroom before bed, rubbing Vicks on him, raising the head of his bed. I'm at a loss what to do now.
When mine were little I used to put decongestant drops (Karvol or Olbus oil) onto their pjs and liquid ibuprofen which seemed to work better for them then calpol. Even now as a teenager my youngest will still put olbus oil on her pjs when she has a cough or feeling bunged up.
Hope he is feeling better soon.0 -

I think your plan is going to fail because of week. 1
Ts gift cards don't earn you CC. Points or contribute towards threshold spend promos (ie spend. £60 get. 5p off petrol, spend. £40 get. £5 off next week ) so i doubt it will work on this
Buying other store gift cards should work thoughApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Went to Newcastle tonight and visited John Lewis to look at something that I've really wanted for a long time. It's a designer piece for the kitchen. I can get it for £16 cheaper online but wanted to check it out.
I love it. I'll order it on line tomorrow. I'll keep you in suspense until I receive it.
Also got a beautiful throw from Fenwicks and some cushions from BHS for £12. Down from £30 to £12. Duck egg blue. Really big ones:)
Love your cushions and sofa TMThey are even colour co-ordinated with Clucky

Would it work with Visa gcs? Would cost a little extra, but works in the same way as Captain's version, with the added bonus of not being stuck with spending in T's later.
It's only a game
