We are firing up the log burner for the first time today just to check all us good before the chimney is sealed.
I'm off to Debenhams to collect duvets and BHS to collect ordered cushions:)
Still no 3 for £10 chocolate for me yet....still hoping there will be better deals around the corner.....still have stuff left off last year:)
Might need to arrange my cereal stash....I have TS and her weevils in mind
I arranged my new stash yesterday and it is now stored away on my shelves tied up in plastic carriers.
There were still some SpecK up there stored like that from the free vouchers last year checked them again and still all ok. So fingers crossed.
Maybe because it is mainly made from rice rather than wheat. But these were the boxes that were never near the weetabix.0 -

"Release a personalised message of hope into the sky to show your support to people affected by breast cancer. For every message Palmer's will donate £3 to Breast Cancer Care with the aim to reach a grand total of £10,000"
Im sure we can add a fair bit to the current total
Bumping this. Lets hope they soon raise their target and a cure is found for this horrendous disease.0 -
Has anyone used their Domino pizza voucher from Sun Bingo? If yes, do you know the restrictions please - is it full price only or can you get the half price Tuesday deals etc?
Many thanks

Looks like a weekend of glitchiness ahead  Happy shopping all :j
For any not wanting, able or needing to shop, pull up a chair, link a choon or two, post a pic (yes please naebirrac, lawrie, westie et al) and reach out and give a huge hug to the person next to you. :A
I need to get out and gather in the last of the blackberries - bumper crop this year with pretty much every hedgerow brimming. Freezer well stocked :j
But also need to hit those glitches - have a fantastic "barter" system here, loads of folk help me out daily with lifts, looking out for the kids, diy, etc and they do it willingly knowing I can't pay, but it is a delight to be able to gift in return, especially if that bottle of wine or box of chocs is unexpected. Get those glitches and share the joy
Have a lovely Saturday all
I think the Elite way forward is bartering. :T:T:T
I have been letting a friend know about recent Ts glitches as they are pretty straight forward, I owed her some money for some fish (her OH is fisherman) she would not take it.
And day after she got her SpecK she brought round a whole fresh sea bass, didn't want anything for it but needless to say she went home with jacobs, thankyou chocs and bubble bath.
I often think when I have managed to get something and my Elite friends have got something I haven't when we play swap shop we are bartering of sorts.0
