Level 147 on FB is a doddle. Level 147 on a phone is a nightmare.

I am now on Level 218 thanks mainly to the lovely duo of TWEETS and POPPY. Thanks my little cherubs for your endless supply of lives. :D

Don't think I will be going down that road as it was facebook that sent me back to level 1 :mad:
We're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits. :)

  • Went to bank today and noticed £8.50 taken out last Friday, same amount as my A's order that never arrived. Came home rang A's told them it was wrong taking money from my account and not delivering the order, the woman agreed, apologised and sent a £20 voucher. Anyway just having proper look at mini statement and realised the £8.50 was direct debit for something else!! :o

As predicted:(, womble with 'cheap' items on it returned nought (it's a shop done about 4pm today btw). But, within all that, here are the items that compare favourably:

    Vs T

Cadbury Crunchie (4x40g) £1.00 £1.00 (but 1p chocs earlier in the year in T)

    ASDA Smartprice Bourbon Creams (400g) 43p 43p

    Vs S

    ASDA Trimmed Leeks (500g) £1.00 £1.00

    Vs M

    ASDA Plums (500g) £1.00 £1.00

ASDA Trimmed Leeks (500g) £1.00 £1.00 (but frozen 1kg sliced ones in M are 50p)

Nestle Fairtrade Kit Kat 4 Finger Bars (4x45g) £1.00 £1.00 as I already well know!:D

Domestos 24 Hour Thick Bleach Pink Power with 33% Extra Free (750ml) £1.00 £1.00

Some Batchelor's packets 50p vs 50p (confirmed are Pasta n Sauce Mild Cheese & Broccoli (123g) and Beef Flavour Savoury Rice (120g)) but not considered good value IMO
Also ASDA Satsumas (650g) are £1 vs £1.08 but, when Oranges in Aldi go to low of 39p packs, and when other oranges - not on msm I believe - are 50p in A, I no longer go for these Satsumas.

    Vs W

    Nothing:rotfl::rotfl:.

Also - thought I'd mention - that, although the oranges are currently not on Super6 and are much much more expensive than 39p, I saw yesterday in Aldi that their Loose Iceberg Lettuces were 45p. Cheaper than A's 50p!

Hi V, trust me when I say they will be sorted out. I dont take to kindly to someone taking my hospitality and throwing it back in my face.
I think in general it's actually a great way to earn extra cash but its hard giving up your privacy. When your lucky enough to have someone lovely staying then it defo makes the job easier. I had a really lovely Colombian girl staying with me for 9 months until recently. We both cried when she left. :o
I do have a few horror stories though

Piccy's please :) I really want some cake but I don't know if I can be bummed to make it now lol

That's so cruel, I would have been fuming

Will do when it's ready tomorrow (takes at least 12-14 hours to make properly!). Might make some crème patisserie to go in it with some sort of fruit.

  • Hiya peeps

Been out galavanting all day and just in the door so not had a nosey yet. Probably old news but Mr T curries still a goer.

Anyone going to the p.....y branch and on the lookout for a coffee machine - dtd opportunity.

K-fee podpronto (black) reduced from £89.97 to £53.98 on the box but the sel states £44.50, minus dtd and machine for £25.54.

Located upstairs at the back wall - 4 still on the shelf this afternoon. This store now has the scanners and I checked that the charge would be £53.98, would advise going through manned till as chance of machine being manually checked.

Hope all are well. Going to watch corrie and backtrack at the same time. x

    Evening all.

I don't know if many on here know of the death of Taxi, who was a regular on the debt free wannabee thread.

When I first found MSE it was on the debtfree wanabee thread and there used to be a daily chat thread on it, similar in many ways to this thread. Taxi was one of the regulars and I followed from afar her debt struggles and then her health struggles, but now she is at peace.
