Cancelled orange contract on phone
I have just manage to cancel my two contracts with orange. i rang today again and immediatly through to the disconnection department and they just told me that i will be charged 35 ppm else where and orange is charging only 20ppm.
I told them i m not willing to pay 20ppm when i have other cheap alternatives.
She then immediatly cancell my both contracts and disconnect me from the network at the same time.
No written notice was required.
i have been using 07744 numbers alot.

Yes my both numbers are disconnected immediatly after the phone but my broad band is still connected.0 -
Ive just called them and was told that as those (07744) numbers werent part of the contract they can do this and hold you to your contract. I insisted that if one had taken out the contract because of that then good customer service would be for them to do something. She then said ''wait a minute, I'll see what I can do.' Then came back and said unfortunatley she couldnt do anything, they have a database of numbers they are allowed to cancel and mine isnt on it. I'm on a Dolphin contract and I dont know what the difference could be. Still, I'm gonna write and protest.0

If You are using orange broadband, then think before u cancell. I was using £5 pm broadband and just manage to cancel by paying £35 n total for the remaining 7 months as they insists its a minimum 12 month contract.
Is this not based on mobile contract?
I am thinking of sending them a written letter to refund my money, is there any thing to stand on?
any help will be much appreciated.0 -
