Worth paying for bailiffs?

I have won a County court case against a sole trader with a small industrial unit. He has not paid what he owes though, so I think my only option is to pay to send the Bailiffs. I don't have his home address only his unit's. I don't think there is anything of value at his unit, apart from his tools which I don't suppose they would seize? Can they find his home address and seize goods from there? It seems to me, all the way through this procedure, the law has been on the defendants side, and if he doesn't have to pay when the court finds against him - what is the point of bothering?

I run a hosting business where anyone signing up agrees to pay a monthly fee and accepts our TOS, if they dont pay they get suspended and then terminated after several invoice reminders, once they get terminated they will get a LBA, if not then we can use small claims to recover whats owed.
Only once in 1 years we have ended up going through small claims and then even had an issued CCJ against the ex client. 2 days before we were going to call in bailiffs they paid at their local court, which was well over their owed hosting fees, but we only took this route as the ex client become abusive and threatened to DDOS our servers because we terminated his account.

You need the defendants home address. This should be able to be obtained from the electoral roll. If you have a CCJ recorded against him at his rental unit then it will not appear on his credit record and will not be seen by anyone else considering doing business with him and checking for CCJ's.

Perhaps consider a Third Party Debt Order if you have bank account details. Or a Charging Order if the debtor owns property.

Obtaining a CCJ is the easy part - enforcing it is often the difficult bit.
