Hi folks,
Acronis 2010 home (paid for version) is not really working right for me now, as outlined in this thread
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4793429=
I have tried everything but acronis is longer reliable for me and I am on the lookout for a good reliable and preferably free backup solution.
I have download Easeus which doesn't seem too bad though a little slow, have also tried Macrium reflect but don't really like the GUI.
Just wonder if you have any recommendations?
I know there is a fairly long backup thread on here but I'm really only interested in full partition backup, not files etc.
many thanks
Joe

What does the gui matter if it works, couple of clicks to do a backup and walk away.
Re your acronis problem, boot from the cd and try a backup, if that doesn't work it's likely to be either a disk corruption or an acronis bug or limitation.!!

As an alternative take a look at Redo Backup and Recovery if you want something that is easy to understand and simple to use.
