Link to Daily Thread!

I don't come into the chat corner or dailies very often due to limited time!

When was it decided we were going to keep on about adding a daily link to comps?

I'd rather add 4 competitions when I have a minute then 1, watch a video and then fanny fart around on other places in the forum.

I'm actually going to stop posting comps, I'd rather not have the hassle.

Is this a new rule?
I don't use the daily thread and don't link any competitons there as I find it time consuming and not how I wish to use the forum.

If this is a new rule being enforced then I wont be submitted rafflecopter competitions any longer as I do not enter half of them to find out if it is indeed a daily tweet!

It is not a rule in the slightest and do not feel forced to do it if you don't want to. If you have the time to do it then it saves someone else from having to, but please don't stop posting the comps because of it

I'd think we'd all rather miss a few daily tweets (who does them anyway?!) than miss an entire comp!

Hello There,

When just a few daily comps were listed every day it was O.K but now loads are being listed every day.

If you list a comp that is a daily tweet then you should post the comp in the daily thread too as someone else has to come behind you & take the time out from their own day I.E list there own comps/enter comps/daily life to finish off listing your comp

It only takes a few clicks to do, but when you are faced with 15-20 or more comps listed on the comp board every day that are not added to the daily/weekly thread I am sure you can understand why I am getting fed up with it as I only have so much time in a day to do this as well as you

It is now in the Compers guide along with how to post a comp.

There are lot's of people who do go through the daily thread & enter them, there have been a lot of winners in the last two weeks so it really does need to be done

I like to post competitions as part of pay it forward

I dont know when I post the comp whether or not its daily as I like to get them on the system then enter them myself when I have more time.

I'm not going to do what you suggest, no offence to you at all, I just do not have the time and I do not expect others to do it for me so I will not be posting any comps that I KNOW are daily.

Can I just say that nobody should feel obliged to do anything. MclarenGurl please don't stop posting whatever you want. If it needs anything extra someone will come along and do that. Just like we do to add links or info.

I'm sure we all appreciate that if you are kind enough to post a competition in the first place you've definitely done 'your bit'.

Lucky, you are an angel to keep adding links to the daily threads, but never feel this as a pressure. You need to know that if you do some of these, it's really helpful, but don't feel you have to do them all. It sounds to me like it's taking up too much of your time hun. Please know that it's fine for you to do whatever bits you want, and just let everything else go. You don't need to find a replacement system for what you've been doing, before you reduce or stop doing it.

I will keep doing them all for you because I believe strongly in the daily thread & try to keep it up to date as there are a lot of winners from the daily thread

dont people bookmark daily comps as they come across them? i mean how well used is the daily thread?

Without the daily thread, end date compers would only come across them as they end. If the daily thread was not there, I suppose we could find them if we searched for "daily", or changed our routine to enter by something other than end date.
