OP - you don't need to add the link to the daily thread. My guess is that someone will be along soon enough to add it instead. Even though that it would take time from their own schedule

I have also learnt not to ask for help.

KNEW this was a mistake starting this thread!

Luckyone you don't have to take on the lion's share- that is totally your choice to do so, others will come along and enter the competition as mentioned by brownhandbag.

I said earlier that I do not always know when I post the comp whether it is a retweet. I will not fake a tweet to find out as this causes aggro for the person running the rafflecopter!!

I just did not appreciate being told that you were 'finishing off' my comp posts! I don't use the daily thread, I see it as a 'nice to have' rather then a necessity and it is therefore my right as a comper and poster not to do more then show others where the next competition is.

It's not a nice to have it's a necessity. Your not the only person who thinks this way a lot of people do

If it's a RC then they usually run for at least two weeks so that's 14 tweets. If it does not get put in the daily thread that's 1 tweet

It does work I've won 4 in the last 2 weeks

For what it's worth - I don't have time to do the Dailies

I generally comp by End Date, trying to keep a couple of days ahead - I'd miss loads of regular comps if I kept up with Dailies too

So, I'm with MclarenGurl - please keep posting as and when you can.
If people are that bothered about Daily tweets, they can add the details if they want.

I'd like to say a huge thanks to MclarenGurl for taking the time to post comps that she hasn't even entered yet !!

And Luckyone, comping is meant to be a fun hobby - if you're finding it that stressful, maybe you should chill out and take up a different hobby?

I think the most important thing is that the comps are put on the main board in the first place, whether they are daily or not. If a link to the daily thread is not added by any OP who posts a comp that is a daily entry then at some point someone will come along and post that link in the daily thread if that is what they want . I do understand Luckyone's point to a certain degree but at the end of the day as long as the comps are posted on the main board in the first place that then gives everyone an opportunity to enter and also the choice of putting a link in the daily thread if they so wish, don't stop posting comps just because you feel pressured to add a link somewhere else or take time out to see if the comp is a daily because it will be done by someone at some point.

I agree Sidsnot, I will continue to post comps that I find.

Whether or not I post them in dailies is up to me and not someone else who is just another comper to TELL me so!
