How To Link To Daily/Weekly Help Thread

Hello There,

I thought it would be a good idea to have a thread where people can come & ask questions on how to link threads to daily/weekly thread.

So Here is my comp I have just posted on the main comp board (dummy one)

E: 31/10 Win Something Amazing! (Rafflecopter)

Now I need to highlight the whole title & copy it.

Then I need to paste it in the daily thread I open another window

(Daily Thread Dummy)


E: 31/10 Win Something Amazing! (Rafflecopter)


So now I need to highlight just the date part which is E: 31/10

Once I have highlighted E: 31/10 I need to click on the B to make it bold like this:

E: 31/10

So now your title will look like this:

E: 31/10 Win Something Amazing! (Rafflecopter)

Now we need to highlight the remaining bit of the link that has not been touched yet so this part:

Win Something Amazing! (Rafflecopter)

Then go to the main comp page where you listed your comp click on your comp & copy the URL at the top of the page.

Go back to the daily thread & your link you are working on & click the little picture of the world.

A box will pop up & you need to clear the box so no typing is in it

Then paste the URL into the box & click O.K

Then you just click submit like normal to submit your link to the thread

And you are done
