Everyone who used BT will have had their homepage changed to BT.com. I used to get financial information and relatively serious news on my homepage. I now get news on celebrities, Eastenders and the like. Anyone else noticed this?
I have complained to BT and await their reply. Probably will be platitudes about their wonderful service, customer surveys, etc. etc..

Just set up your own preferred home page in the browser you are using?
I have mine pointing to a BBC News front page.0 -
Because BT is terminating it's relationship with Yahoo-announced some time ago.

It's their homepage, they can display any content they wish.
When I worked for an ISP we moved an advert and had lots of complaints. It was an advert, people just couldn't deal with it being in the opposite corner of the screen.0 -
I know this is a bit of SBO, but if you liked the BTYahoo home page, but you don't like the BT one, have you tried the Yahoo one to see if it's got all those things you like?
http://uk.yahoo.com/1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -
Thanks for the replies. I have changed my home page but was a little annoyed that BT just stopped the BT Yahoo one and transferred me to their page. The BT.com page is pretty trashy in it's content.0
