Okay, with a loftbox you can mix FREEVIEW and DAB down a single coax www dot satcuredit dot co dot uk/accs/page11c.htm#distamp
My question is do I need a diplex wall plate with a TV and DAB outlet?
I will only have one device plugged in at any one time, a TV or a DAB radio.I hve tha labgear amp/dist box and no diplex wall plate. This works for FREEVIEW but not DAB. I was told this should work by my local TV shop.but it doesn't.
So I'm guessing that a diplex wall plate www dot satcuredit dot co dot uk/accs/wall_plates.htm#diplwp should split the UHF and VHF signals to the appropriate port.
Can anyone confirm this?
cheers

Yes - you need the dual socket to un combine the feed - if you inadvertently transposed the wires, you wouldn't receive anything!0

that cannot happen, its just a single coax, the centre wire can only go into one socket on the diplex wall plate with the screen attaching to the casing
btw buzby, have you done this?
