MandS Travel money buying with Mands Credit card

Friends said they thought that if you pay for your MandS currency by your MandS Credit Card you get a better rate of exchange than the one on offer in store. Is this correct and where can I find details on the conditions, like whether I have to order in advance on line. Any information on this subject would be most helpful. Thank you.

M&S ran a promotion where M&S Cardholders got better rates on Euro and US$ for a while this summer. This offer is now finished, but you never know may come back at some point.
Also worth mentioning that unlike other credit cards, if you purchase currency at a M&S bureau with your M&S card it'll be treated like a purchase for interest purposes, so you'll have your usual interest free period until your statement arrives and is due to pay it off, so some slight benefit there.0
