Which bank offers the best internet banking?

Nationwide gets my vote too. I moved from Smile basically because their internet banking hadn't changed for 10 yrs. I use it almost daily and have several accounts - moving money around, paying people by transfer etc all super-easy. I find the card reader a bit irksome though I think you can prob do most things without it if you're set up the right way.0

I understand. But, over the years, I have had accounts with many banks, and their online banking systems are all simple and fully-functioning. FD's certainly is, though it isn't pretty by any means. But I can't answer re mobile banking.Online/mobile banking is the main way that I interact with my bank, so I want it to be simple and fully-functional.0 -
I've used nationwide since it started - it may not be "the best", but I've always been able to do everything I wanted to on it without any great trouble, so it's certainly good enough for me and I see no need to loo for another.
I've also never once logged in using the card reader - I always use memorable data. Only ever need to use the card reader when I'm making a payment - either a large one or one to a new payee.0 -
Only used Lloyds and Halifax, which is in essence the same, but I find the internet banking very straightforward, clean interface, no overly complicated security (if you set up a new payee, it is confirmed via a phone call, so somebody can't just strip your account while you're sleeping, simple, but effective). Haven't used their mobile apps, but they have mobile versions of their sites that work well, though don't have the full functionality of the full sites.0

I do find Natwest's app quite good and easy to use. The slightly annoying bit is that the app will only function on one device. So if you have a phone and a tablet then you will have to pick on which you want to use it.0

Strange. I have the RBS app (virtually the same app) running fine on three devices.0 -
I have mobile phone apps for Barclays, Coop and Santander and to be honest they're all good. Transferring money between them all has been almost instantaneous.0
