Making the heat from a stove to 'flow' through the house?

Any tips on getting the heat upstairs? It's lovely & warm downstairs, can feel it slightly up stairs but wandering if we can get it warmer? It's all open plan, read somewhere about a desk fan at the side of it? Saw another post about them eco fans that go on the fire.
Not that fussed if we can't get it warmer, like I say it's 3degrees warmer in kids bedrooms, but would like to try! Not keen on the desk fan idea tbh.
Thanks

One stove will not make all your rooms toasty. As you have found the rooms leading off the stove room will be warmer, but you won't ever get the same temp as your stove room.
An eco fan will circulate the heat from the stove faster but won't be pushing it any warmer up the stairs. We have an Eco fan on the downstairs stove as that is sat in a chimney space. My upstairs stove is free standing so the heat circulates much faster0 -
Try putting a small electric fan in the area near the stairs blowing towards the stove room.
Keep it on low setting so not too noisy or annoying, this should move the warm air into the area of the stairs and should help a bit. :money:

Google "stove top fan" . They sit on the top of the stove, the heat from the stove makes them turn and move the heat around. I've never tried one but have been thinking of giving one a go.

I have an ecofan (800) and it does help move the heat about but it will not force heat into all the rooms upstairs.
It does work, and i'd have another, but i doubt some of the claims i see about them.0
