Agreed. It's the only way to keep tabs on usage, and, keeping records will provide evidence if there are any queries. Not reading the meter that's installed in your own home at least monthly is crazier! Bonkers actually. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

So you've got a 10% reduction and free extended credit.I'm currently fighting them and being treated appallingly. Currently offered over 10% off the arrears and to pay it back over 3 years - lighting for a better deal as that is still too much!
You've used it, why do you think you shouldn't have to pay for it?0 -
I don't think this issue is unique to UW (though I did chuckle a little and wonder why a company people praise so much had such a thread.
Whilst I agree people should read the meters the fact is they don't, and yes I know a lot of people struggle to pay these shock bills, but some cannot.
It is amazing to me that suppliers are willing to allow people to build up these sort of debts. I wish bar tabs operated in the same way...
Seriously though it is a massive risk to their business.Mixed Martial Arts is the greatest sport known to mankind and anyone who says it is 'a bar room brawl' has never trained in it and has no idea what they are talking about.0
