This wouldn't be good... If they were to be limited, I would hope that this limit would still be high enough to make them a viable source for retirement planning!

I read a lot of very silly back and forth about this topic on the Telegraph site this afternoon (all the conspiracy theorists were out!)
The reports coming out seem to suggest that civil servants are conducting hypothetical research on policies that may be considered at some point in the future. I suspect they debate a heck of a lot of possible policies and 'what ifs?'
It's not as this is proposed legislation at this point. Still, the screams of anger will hopefully keep them away from tinkering! :rotfl:0 -

I don't know what the game is. They say they want people to save, but want to pull any incentives away, spoil sports. I think the government is going to lose a lot of tax revenue with low paid workers, increase in personal allowances, increase in pension membership. If they remove ISA's, people may move more into pensions, this will lose even more tax.0
