No, not as pink and it's actually can't be seen from the top of the paw, it's only when you spread his toes.

It looks like a pink version of one of those Greek eye things that you see that are supposed to ward off evil.

  • I place my bets on it being a grass seed. Maybe you could take him in starved just in case he needs a sedation

A grass seed was my first thought, but now I'm not convinced it's that.

O/H suggested bursting it and I had to threaten him with hellfire if he even touched it. There's either something in it, or a centre thing of some kind. Just looks like a pink eye now.

Wish I knew how to upload a pic.
  • Oh sounds awful - Maisie's been chewing her paws something rotten lately and they're starting to look really sore again (harvest mites seem to be the problem) :(

Re uploading a photo - have you got a photobucket account (or another pic hosting site)?

All you need to do is up load the photo onto there & then copy the link (use the direct one) and then go to the image tool at the top of your post (it looks like a yellow envelope with mountains & a stamp on!) and then paste it in

If it might be a cyst you could try bathing it in Epsom salts or salty water. That can sometimes fetch the gunge out. And make OH feel like he's doing something useful.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Haven't got a photobucket account but I'll open one and see if I can get the pic uploaded
