Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Just read and something doesn't quite add up for me....

I think we are missing quite a bit and it's not a land mark case. Bad reporting yet again.

Good though!, just have to get them to pay up !!

  • Fantastic - one in the eye for these scammers! - Many more to follow on other legal precedents I hope!

Breach of any BPA CoP may lead to further cases - giving info regarding how to appeal is cited under one of their codes.

Good result, but if this sets up a new trend many pakring companies will just phoenix into something else ( possibly using the TCP/smart parking marker pen method)
If anything is to be done then instead of targeting the parking companies, the principal should be in the firing line, in otherwords whoever lets these Parasitic Parking Companies onto their land.

Of course, being just a county court case, it doesn't set any precedent.

Very true! - Needs to go much higher up the chain. Still any loss for PPC is a good loss!

It's ironic that PPC's tend to quote the odd case that has been won by them in an attempt to frighten people into paying up.
