I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
After a bit of a break, i am back :) And NEED to stay on budget. I get paid on Fridays, so this will run from today (Sun) to Thurs. I know it's a really short weekm, but i hope that's OK?

I am going with £10. I know i need some butter tomorrow, and the rest will be dinner money for the oldest son.

    Thanks ETO :)

    Hi,

    thanks for starting ETO..

Last week was a bit of a nightmare spending wise.... spent most of yesterday breaking things it seems, had a couple of photo frame that i trod on so had to replace them.. and also managed to pull the entire plug socket out of the wall while hoovering!! :O

Total spend for last week was £37/£20 :(

Had a long think about my budget this week so think I've included everything I need:

    Sun - NSD
    Mon - NSD
    Tues - NSD
Wed - possible top up shop, only a few small things so £5
    Thu - NSD
Fri - film night with bf - £5 on a few snacks and drinks
    Sat - weekly shop £20 + £10 petrol

So I'm going for £35 this week...
  • Hi can I pledge £20 for this week hoping for less but got to start somewhere.
    2016 £31138 Debt free ?
    Jan Groc £200/162.56

  • Awwwww thanks MissE001. Well done on the zero spend therefore PURPLE week. Oh and well done on getting your money back.

Munchin - hope you had a lovely holiday

Splodgethefirst - good luck with the planned purple week. I've been doing this 2 years now and never managed that. :D

Flyinggiraffe - sounds expensive and shame they can't give you a petrol allowance beforehand.

WantToBeSE - you do whatever works best for you. As long as you don't splurge on the days you don't include. :D

And bt1 - whoops, that's all I'm going to say.

Evening, never done this before but been reading and think I'd like to have a go. So basically it's just all the extra spends that I'm counting - not things like food or petrol?

I'd like to pledge £25 as a starter, thought I'd be realistic and then see how I get on.
    Starting off with:
Sunday: £4.65 swimming with smallest boy (he was free as a member) and £1.99 for running app- I'd got to the end if the free version and still going strong as it's cheaper than the gym!
Monday - Gerbil food £5.36, not planning on spending anything else today at all
