Help sold wrong size shoes

Options
I bought a pair of size 12 ugg boots for my daughters xmas from Office last november, she wore them for around 3 months. I them put them away for this winter, when I took them out the cupboard I noticed that they are a size 12 and 13! I still have the box which states a size 12. Can I take them back to the shop and ask for what I paid for, a size 12?

    Err if she has worn them, and not said anything to you, about the size of them, then I would not have thought so.

    Also I would have thought you should have checked befroe you left the shop.

    I think that after wearing them for 3 months and then keeping them for the rest of the year then acceptance will have occurred. She didn't notice they were wrong last time so I doubt she'll notice this time.

    So you purchased these 11 months ago and out of them they were worn for 3 months of these without anyone noticing them as different sizes.

    I dont think you will get anywhere. the box means nothing, you would need proof of purchase (receipt or CC statement)

    Or at least one of them :rotfl:
  • I do not have my receipt but do have my bank statement. My fault, I should have checked them. will be checking all shoes from now on.

    could be hard after 11 months and 3 months wear, but no harm in trying

    They were "accepted" and there is no defect.

    Most people's feet are different sizes/shapes anyway - perhaps a 12/13 mix is the best combination for your daughter.

    Next time ask for a "pair", one a 12 and one a 13 :rotfl::rotfl:

    Surely her feet would have grown in a year and they would now be too small anyway?
