flight compensation

Hi wonder if anyone can help...... I have received a letter back from Thomas Cook saying I am entitled to a compensation, they have enclosed a voucher of £1720.00 in which I have to spend on a Thomas Cook holiday, this goes out of date in October 2014. Is this acceptable as was hoping for cash!! Are they just trying to 'fob' me off with the easiest option?

Try reading the answers you were given after asking the identical question yesterday, or even better try finding a page on the Thomas Cook thread that doesn't contain a post about vouchers

Yay!!!! Figured it all out now and have been on TC customer service forum so I shall await a reply!! thank you DTDfanBoy, it is Sunday morning after all................
