The Housing Association I rent from replaced it about 18 months ago now with a new one, but this one does the same thing, so if this is wrong, then the problem must be with the water supply.
Excuse me being cynical but are you actually sure they replaced it and didn't just clean the cover up, make it all shiny and put it back?

    Cheers

Check that they have connected it to your cold water supply (giving you mains pressure) and not to you hot which may be fed from a header tank. If it is fed from the cold mains, then it doesn't matter how many taps are opened in your house it won't make a dent on the flow rate.

I saw the old shower being removed, plus it's a more newer shower!

It's funny you should say that because sometimes I get 'Warm' water from the cold tap in the sink!

Possible if the hot pipe and the cold pipe are next door to one another and heat transfer is taking place. Do you mean sink (kitchen) or do you mean basin (bathroom or cloakroom)?

OK thanks. You didn't mind me asking I suppose? Which Triton (the new one) is it? You haven't said.

    The bathroom one
I which case I'd suggest cold feed running alomngside a hot pipe somewhere.

One 64k question is did they commission it properly iaw the manufacturers indstructions?

There are all sorts of possibilities here from a) It never worked properly out of the box to z) its not plumbed right some of which has been touched upon already by others. On balance I think DYNs advice earlier up the thread is the right advice. It's the HAs problem - punt it back to them to fix it.
