    Afternoon!

Well all I can say is roll on Monday when DH will be back at work! He's having a stressy day today, thankfully they don't happen very often but I hate it when they do. It doesn't help that its chucking buckets and he/we can't really go out.

I made a Tottenham cake this morning, the icing is VERY lurid indeed!

Got some washing tumble drying and some on the airer. I hate it when it's not cold enough for the heating as it just feels damp.

    Chicken for tea tonight.

    Have a good day.

tru that blanket is lovely, all those hours if you were on minimum wage plus the cost of the wool would make the blanket worth £625.52
We went to an indoor car boot today and I bought another couple of myth and magic dragons for £5 each :D 6 early Blue Peter annuals for £3 (50p each) and some old bottles for 50p each and an old Crawford's biscuits brooch for £1:j

Persisting down here and a lot of washing has miraculously manifested itself in the washing basket :( Oh well it will have to wait for the next dry day.

Roast beef and yorkie puds with kale, carrots and peas for dinner tonght.

Happy first birthday Jacob x animated-smileys-birthday-015.gif

  • Tru, that is a lovely blanket.

Weather has been awful here today. Need to get someone in to fox my leaky conservatory/utility.

    Himself is away till weds.

I have washing coming out if my ears. Where does it all come from?

Doing a chicken dinner tonight. After I've made that I'll have 3 carcasses and some thigh bones (other bones in the freezer). What's the best way to make stock? I've made stock before but it's never been that nice. I will not use celery though, it is VILE!

I love soap & glory stuff. I usually get the big £60 box at Xmas for half price.

    Hi again,

For all the people who like Soap and Glory it's on 3 for 2 at Boots at the moment. I've bought a load yesterday for my daughters christmas presents and got to choose exactly what I knew they wanted. The big Yule monty box looks lovely but I can't be bothered to sit up till 2 in the morning trying to order it at half price pressing refresh on the computer while the Boots site goes down :rotfl::rotfl:I may have done this in the past :o.

Have some exciting news my DDIL is in Active labour so she should have a baby in the next few hours I feel tearful, frustrated I'm not there and excited all at once. Just hope for a happy healthy baby girl.

Have been out for lunch with my DD, DGS DS2 and DIL to be. It was lovely all the talk was about the new baby:T
Oscars room is all ready for him, DH and I are moving to the other side of the house with the ensuite so that my daughter and her little boy have rooms next to each other so that if he wakes in the night he does have to cross the landing, iykwim so some organising to do. They are moving in on 26 th October and we can't wait:j

Just catching up on strictly and putting some washing away. I'm hoping for a rest this evening.
