    Morning all,

Miserable day here very cold and wet, dont think we will be doing much today, I still need to take the curtains up in the bedroom so might do that while dd is here.

We have got to go and clear dads room at the home which will be hard but my sis and I will do it, mum is in a lot of pain with her hip so cant get down anyway.

I think this afternoon will be veg out in front of a film, I will cook a roast pork and have a quiet afternoon.

Thanks again for your support it means so much xx

Dull and dreich looking here, so washing is hanging on the airer, need to do some ironing later to stop the mountain reforming. When I eventually get to the top of the shower queue will pop to mums, then find something for dinner, just me in tonight and don't know what I fancy.

  • Good Morning everyone, absolutely chucking it down here in north Kent.Just stripped and changed the bed,but it won't get washed until Tuesday when the rain is supposed to stop :):)I hate wet washing hanging around.I went to visit my friend in Dartfor yesterday and saw her gorgeous DDs new twins .Had lots of cudles and they are beautiful.Mum and babies both doing well and Mum popped out woith her pal for lunch so my friend and I had a good couple of hours feeding and changing the little mites.
Then after a nice lunch and good long natter I left and went to see my DDs in-laws in Barnehurst which wasn't far away and her father in law gave me a big carrier of apples from their tree to take home and we also had a good chin wag.Really nice day catching up with friends.
My eldest DD is due any moment for her Sunday morning pot of coffee and she is going to help me sort out some stuff for the charity shop as I have been losing weight and lots of stuff no longer fits me.:):):)
Rgen it feet up and a bit of Peaky Blinders to watch until I go to youngest DDs for dinner late afternoon.
Although the wind is blowing and the rain is falling its not cold at the moment so my heating is still off :):)
Has anyone heard from Monnagran I haven't seen her posting for awhile I hope she is OK
Well time to get the coffee on the go
have a good weekend what ever you are doing
    Cheers chums

    Morning all,

it was raining most of the night, I could hear it hammering down on the caravan but the wind has dropped and its fairly pleasant today.

Not sure what we are doing later, hubby hasn't committed himself yet though this evening we wil be going through the ritual of packing everything up to come home. As the van will be stored undercover on site over the winter (as it is all throughout the year) we are thorough in its cleaning as it wont be used again for a few months.

I have just walked the 'Girls' and got back to an empty van. Looks like hubby has gone walkabout... not that I am complaining.

Daughter is desperate for me to come home. She needs a 'break' apparently. Oh the joys of Motherhood and she has made the first mistake in my rule book. Each time Grandbaby whimpers they pick him up and now he doesn't like being put down. Last night she asked me if i'd have him for the day on the 22nd whilst she goes to Alton Towers..... This morning she's asked me if i'll start having him if she goes to the gym. Its not going to be very easy with a baby who cries to be picked up all the time. I think i'm going to have to talk to her when I get home.

I hope 'Youngest' has kept on top of the washing. Ive got a boat load that needs to be done which includes almost 2 weeks worth of clothing and 2 sets of sheets and pillowcases. No doubt 'Youngests' bed will need to be changed.

Whilst I was walking the dogs I met a man walking his dog too. His accent sounded rather familiar.

Right I am off to pack some stuff,

    Have a good day all,
