:rotfl: You've given Broggers a vision now MiT - too late :rotfl:
Very well done on another 3lbs gone :T
It's wonderful to think if the new biz takes off, you'll maybe able to replace your current job with it in time. How satisfying that would be after how your workplace has treated youBack on the DFW Wagon:

It is indeed a very beautiful vision MiT and I know you are going to 'knock 'em dead' in your dress!!
Ali is a cheeky girl though  12:03am !! Way past her bedtime. She should have been enjoying her beauty sleep not on here being cheeky0 -
:rotfl:@ you 2.
Just bought a tumble dryer. Cost me £300 and I used overdraft to get itHOWEVER I just won £110 on my Mum's lottery ticket so that's over a third paid already :j. I'll pay off the rest from my cleaning money from job number 3 rather than pay it all off of my card. Slows progress down slightly but speculating to accumulate and all that.
I've never had a dryer before but am thinking of putting it under my stairs. It;s a condenser one so shouldn't cause issues with damp and I can always open my back door when it is on to stop this, I'm still excited but need to go and iron now to continue with my prepping for starting at weekend x5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000 -
Nice win there :j
If you're using the TD partly/all for work then a percentage/all can be offset against income for tax purposes. If you haven't already, I'd recommend getting your self employed stuff set up.Back on the DFW Wagon:

Thanks Milann. I need all the luck I can get. Just sent my prices out to new client and am a bag of nerves waiting on her reply
Ali, I can apparently do a self assessment online at end of tax year but I need to have a good old study on HMRC site and check.
Busy busy day today and I'm not done yet. I have a guy coming in morning to give me a price to do a few jobs in house. I need a new tap in kitchen, 2 doors are needing reduced as rubbing on carpet and 4 cupboards shelved in preparation for my business. DS and I picked up a machine today for it so I'm going to test it out in a minute and see how it works. I'm then going to finish off my washing and ironing. We also cleaned a house today and the other house had had a ceiling come in during the week so we spent an extra couple of hours in there. I'll head over to my bank account and get it paid off of my ASDA card. My DD has a card on that account but I think I will be taking it off of her as she is being very silly with it and her bill this month is £300 .
Need to go out tomorrow after joiner comes and deliver DD's invitations as party is in 3 weeks time. Then working at cleaning job at night. I can really see all this being my ticket out of my work but I will wait and see and will not make any decisions until I am debt free.
I was speaking to the woman I clean fors husband today and he told me to get plans etc for my kitchen and he will get it is greatly reduced for me at his supplier. I am so pleased as it could potentially cut a couple of thousand off of my costs
Am off to get some ironing done xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60

Hi MIT,
You will need to be registered for se in order for your friend to be able to pay you as as she will also be se. I'm sure you are anyway as you already do all those cleaning jobs. I hated se assessment's and they mucked up my normal tax code so I just do paye as you go now. Sounds like a fab opportunity to get those pesky debts down forever.
Good luck. XxxChristmas 2020 £109

Hi there MIT! Just been catching up with the last few pages of your diary and wow you've been successful what with the new venture and the weight loss. Well done
. Sorry to hear about your friend though.

Evening folks. I thought I was working today and then found out I had got dates wrong. You have no idea how delighted I was about that. I then spent 6hrs cleaning my own house and it is just so amazing to be sitting here and house is spotless. Even got all the bathroom tiles cleaned. Happy MIT :j. I know I lose out on £50 but I really really needed the time at home.
DD is away out to deliver her invitations for her party. She's getting rather excited about it all.
Guy came today to look at the jobs I need done and will get back to me with a price. I have a few things I can sell and will get those advertised in the week so I can raise as much as possible towards the cost. My overdraft is already over £500 this month but am not too concerned as I have £200 cleaning money and £110 lottery win to get paid in this week. I can live with the other £200. April will however be an expensive month for me with DD's party but I will be as frugal as I can.
So instead of working until 9.30 tonight I am going to cook dinner, Have a shower and wash my hair and chill out in my lovely clean house. I can't wait.
I'll try and get a wee catchup on here as well as I haven't had any time to do that all week. I hope you are all good though xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
