Thermostat and Timer Integrated Solution Suitable?

I was wondering if someone can help a noobie here. I have a analog thermostat dial that look and function pretty much like a Honeywell T6360 Room Thermostat, and I also have a separate programmable on/off timer that look like Drayton LP522 Heating & Hot Water Programmer (no temperature control) for water and heating. We use a BAxi conventional gas boiler for water and heating.. requires a hot water tank and 2 smaller overflow tanks in the attic.
My situation: with the Drayton LP522 Heating & Hot Water Programmer, I can only do the same 3 periods timer per day, for my entire house. It is not customised enough to our needs. It is either we on it too much, or we will end up using too little heating during some part of the day.
We need a timer that can give us more flexibility and something that is more intelligent to help us optimise our heating solution.
My question is: Honeywell 7-day Programmable ASIN:B003DTROQ8 Honeywell 7-day Programmable Thermostat CM907 CMT907A1041CMT907A1041, can it be set to be more flexible, and where do i actually install this thermostat and to replace which thermostat?

Thanks.
