I find Sainsburys the most expensive supermarket apart from Waitrose and will only shop there if I cant get what I need elcewhere.
What is also annoying is that they do that price matching thing but you only get the difference back on your next shop not your current one. Thats a total con.
Morrisons, Asda and Aldi are the best for good value I find, but you have to keep an eye out checking all items in case of sly rip offs.0 -

Asda you need access to a computer and a printer. Which most elderly customers don't have.
Tesco, won't allow you to use their price match coupons until the following day. If I buy clothes, CDs etc at Sainsburys, I pay for them separately after my food. If I do get a brand match coupon, I redeem it on my clothes.
Also with Sainsburys brand match, you get a coupon with one item like a bottle of whiskey, providing its over £20. With the others you need to buy 8-10 different items.
So each scheme has its pros and cons0 -
Twice since August I have received two books of six £6.00 of a £30 spend vouchers, which have been very gratefully received :-)0

Went to Morrisons to buy some of the Uncle Ben's microwave rice which is 74-79p a pack.
Received a coupon for £1.25 off £25 shop.
That is a tempting coupon Morrisons - not!0 -
Re Sainsbury's I used to get bonus Nectar points if next shop was £60+. Then I did some shopping for a work event that came to £190, swiping nectar card, and ever since they have bonus points if next shop is £90+....
The vouchers also tend to be valid for 2 weeks for me...0 -
this is really good to know, i always do my shopping online & always throw the vouchers away....I will be complaining more often, thank you0
