I just have to say, it's better than at morries, where I've received a £1.75 wys £30! Thanks Mr M, but I think I can do better :rotfl:

I dont see the point in these vouchers, all ive ever seen is a £1.75 off a £30 shop, not really going to entice me to shop there to spend the £30.

It's the money off a £50 shop that annoy me. I don't have a car so I have to carry my shopping on the bus and that's pretty difficult with that amount of shopping.

I also live on my own so it would be rare to want that much shopping after a week.

I take it you are refering to Sainsburys ?

Id do what the OP did and contact customer services.

Currently Im using 3 Nectar cards for me and other family members,
When I use my card I don't get any vouchers, but the other 2, which aren't used so much, I get money off vouchers, like £9 off a £60 spend. I had 3 of those vouchers, but only managed to use one of them.
Is it because the card that isn't used much they give you vouchers to entice you to spend more?
I now swop between all 3 cards now, as I don't get any vouchers at all now.
  • I think of them as disloyalty vouchers - the less frequently I visit Sainsburys, the more likely I am to get a good deal.

I never get any actual money off vouchers (unless the refund ones if they're more expensive that Asda/Tesco). The only ones I get are extra Nectar points ones.

Thought I'd better come on and say something positive. We've had some £2 off vouchers delivered as a little, local Sainsbury's has just opened. I'm surprised we're in its catchment as the big shop is even nearer.

I popped in today and got us a ready meal for the freezer for CBA days: 2 chicken jalfrezis with pilau and a tray of Indian snacks were £5 so with my voucher £3!!

I've got about 4 more spread over the next few weeks.:)

The Nectar points vouchers that I get are 100 points with a £50 spend.

So to try and keep my loyalty is worth 50p (1%).

That's interesting - is it the case that not using a Nectar card increases the chance of receiving a voucher, then?

I'd always assumed it was the other way round. :)

Everyone is leaving these vouchers behind. Sainsburys online shopping is awful. The site crashes, they don't price match your alternatives.

My friends that work for Sainsburys say it goes against their green supermarket policy. If they want to give customers an induction offer, state it on the website.

One of them complained to the careline posing as her mother and they said she was the first customer to complain!

Not everyone is interested in internet shopping! My friends and their colleagues filled 10 bin bags of these coupons per week!
