Good job I rearranged visiting mum as I feel well rough today. Had a massive lie in this morning, can't remember the last time I slept in this late!

Spending the day at home today to take it easy and catch up with the housework along with making some soup for lunch.

Small sales on ebay this weekend so far

Looks like it should be a No Spend weekend though, so every cloud!

In between coughing and sneezing and blowing I have done most of the cleaning, made some rather lovely leek and potato soup and changed the bedding and that's about it.

Really really pleased with the new front door which looks brilliant and is doing a good job of keeping me warm and cosy Strange how it can look better without the door curtain to make it cosy but it looks so much better and no more single glazed panel shaking when a deep base playing car goes past!

I think it will be an early night for me tonight after a slap up easy tea of left over sausage casserole defrosted and a new try out of leek and potato gratin type thing and plenty of hot chocolate for afters!

Haven't spent a penny today meaning it is NSD 7

Feeling rough today. Hope it's not turning into another chest infection, feels a bit like it is. A quiet day here then.

Good job I decided to dye my hair earlier otherwise no chance of getting it done before work Christmas do this week. Tidied up outside after the storm earlier this week after taking the dog for a walk. Can't quite manage that longer weekend walk today.

Will be another NSD today as I'm not going anywhere apart from another dog walk later this afternoon. Just some eBay listings to do later and parcel up some sales hopefully.

I've had no internet for 2 days due to the storms but luckily no damage to our home, very fortunate!

Glad to hear there was no damage after all that wind we had last week raging all over the country.

Sold quite a bit on ebay this week - small amounts but 12 items sold so that's good as more space freed up and clutter off to new homes. Relisted everything else and popped one more item on there

Pleased! One item already has a bid on it which all being well means it's off to a new home next week.

Have parceled up all the sales from this week and ready to post once the final buyers pay up.

Worked out that this weeks profits from sales are £30 once £20 postage costs and £5 fees are taken out. Going straight into my virtual sealed pot account for the mega loan settlement. Going to be a long haul but it will get well worth it over 3years instead of 27.

All work stuff ready for tomorrow including paracetamol and inhalers to see if I can keep going for the rest of the week which include saying goodbye to my favourite external clinical expert/supervisor, a meeting with a new work colleague to sort out stuff for the new job and works Christmas meal, finish off making bath salt mixes and melts, all before Wednesday night! Then it's late work night and early finish on Friday with a slightly frantically busy afternoon of appts; haircut, gutter cleaning (house not me!), damp assessment (house again!) and pay for window and door. Then it will down to my final full time week at the office of gloominess.

Feeling a little better today thank goodness, although not over this horrible cough and cold. Coughing kept me up most of last night and I certainly flagged this afternoon. Anyway here's hoping this weekend was the worst of it.

Today was the usual boring day at work, posted eBay sales, rest to post tomorrow now they've been paid for. Stocked up on some more postage materials from eBay funds and that's about it. Oh yes, another item has a bid on it so that's 2 for this week so far.

Oh yes, bath melt ingredients arrived today and finished off the bath salts. Will make the bath melts this week.

NSD 9 today, early night here as feeling very tired.

Said goodbye to my favourite well respected supervisor today after telling her about my new job and we agreed it was time for me to move on to a complete change, which of course, was exactly correct! Glad I took the card in to say goodbye too.

Me and a supervisor group colleague went out for a leaving lunch and coffee afterwards which was also a nice way to spend lunch time for once. Meaning today was a spend day but worth it and tomorrow is the work Christmas meal out so will be a spend day -eek, 2 in a row!

Painting nails shortly to make a start then get the outfit ready to go. Driving though, not drinking so won't be messy!

Back from the Christmas meal with work. Ok I suppose, a good old natter with my friends at work then back home.

Spent £2 on 2 drinks after paying for the meal so that was probably the best thing!

So 2 spends days in a row that feel a bit weird as that is out of synch of my usual spending patterns these days. Back to normal tomorrow of course. What else? The usual long day at work tomorrow then half day on Friday which can't come quickly enough for me, this chesty horrible cough is driving me mad at the moment. Sometimes it feels like it's going and other times it gets worse - rubbish!

I have picked up my sparkly new pendant after work today, oh my word, it is lovely. Brilliant to have exactly what I wanted and well worth the 10 week wait once I decided what I wanted and found the most perfect jeweller to do it on commission. Will save up for a pair of earrings next! The pendant needs a shorter less twinkly chain than I have now and I'll sort this after crimbo's over and done with.

Happily one more very short morning to go at work then it's the busy busy afternoon of haircut, gutter cleaning, damp assessment of house and pay for new door. Then it's my final week of full time work at the current place, oh yes, looking forward to the change ahead!

As the pendant was budgeted for using birthday money, I can claim a NSD today - NSD 10
