I have been a paid for a cremation and urn today, I did ask about why it took so long to contact us, they did say that the house phone number they have on record is out dated, I said what about the mobile number that is current, they said they did call that but it went through to answerphone they left a message and left it to see if we would contact them, they then tried again on Friday that's when they told us. now my wife has been through her phone she's glued to it everyday its always charged and we cannot find a answerphone message form the vet, she has recent ones from other people (mostly PPI spam) and we tested it again to make sure the service number was right in her setting they are. I conclude the vet thought she dialed our number but got it wrong.
anyway, weve updated our house number (again because I did do it when cocoa was vacc'd) and put this behind us, they are usually very decent and punctual vets, they have always called on the button when any of our animals have gone in.
we expect tinks to be home on Thursday.0 -
are they waiving the storage fees Atrix? I think they should as you had no idea she was there - and it hardly costs that much I shouldn't think! you have ALL of your pets with them and while I agree that they have been good in the past - I don't believe them that they couldn't contact your wife on the mobile! She is glued to it! I never have any trouble phoning her!
The girls were upset on Friday and found it hard to talk about Tinks - but C wanted to go on the Lolcats thread down in the Arms - and they started giggling and relaxing and talking about how Tinks was funny! I think it helped them come to terms with it.
She going in the 'shrine' in the garden? or you scattering the ashes over in 'HER' field?0 -
