Yes, I am hopefull the light will be good, regardless, the little,un will have a great time as she has never been before.
I have vouchers for the tower, but I think we will only see the circus.
pleasure beach, cant decide if its worth getting wristbands or pay for rides separately. I have codes for free entry, saving 3x£60 -
I too visited the lights this year and there were displays along the prom they were at the end heading towards fleetwood. Postman pat, noddy, sooty, a big Egyptian display, a haunted house and more. The Rutland hotel on the front is a nice place to stay we stayed there in June
Lol that will teach us not to go all the way ....it's a shame though they reduced them as they used to go all the way down the prom. I read somewhere recently that a few local councillors had complained about the seemingly lack of effort.0 -

There are plenty of rides for little ones...does the Pleasure beach give prices out for each ride or can you buy a certain amount of indivual tickets at a discount....all said with our trip we still had fun, nice fish and chips and a walk down the Pier.0 -

Nipped in to the shops earlier.
I am probably not the best person to ask, I personally cannot stand the place, left many years ago. I would second the Travelodge in St. Annes, St.Annes Square and shops are worth a visit, Lytham is a complete gem, I have lived in both places and they really are lovely, particularly Lytham.
The illuminations have thinned out over the years, like most places it's down to expense.
There are rides for all ages at the Pleasure Beach, it has been landscaped in parts and looks a lot better than it did.
If funds can stretch to it or you can get a good deal you could stay at The Big Blue hotel which is adjacent to the Pleasure Beach, you can view the rides going past from your bedroom window. I found it fascinating watching the workers walking the tracks and sending empty cars round to check for safety early in the morning.
I hope the links help.
Edited to add: if you have access to 02 priority you can get 2 for 1 into Tussauds and the Tower building.Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -
