yup I need pie now too
it might not work but I'm going for corned beef and potato (with carrots to make it healthy) in hot water pastry in my yorkshire pudding tin. I'm hoping it turns out as good as it seems in my mind.

Sorry for the delay in replying - I've not been very well.
I've got a four way round pie tin - but I'd really like one of those six way things if I can ever find it again. As for individual ones...
..that's how we got here in the first place!
I can't remember if I posted the pie recipe on the Recipe Board Thread, but I know the savoury pastry recipe has been posted (somewhere)... I've got LOADS of catching up to do but I'll try and make sure I post the whole thing in a day or two.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. It sounded like a good idea to me too, and I did a bit of a hunt around to see if I could find any. I found a few online but thought the prices were a bit steep for what they were. There is one here though if you can justify it!

if you already have the foil pie trays, and if said pie trays are capable of supporting themselves when filled (ie do not cave in/out under the weight of the ingredients)... could you not just use a roasting tin to house them when in the oven? as this is deeper than an oven tray, so sliding off wouldnt be an option
