M42, m6 round top of Birmingham, onto M5 will be fine. You won't really want the M6toll so watch your lanes when joining M6!
m6 joins M5 perfectly fine, why would you think otherwise?

Hi, M6 joins perfectly M5, and also M42 connects M5 Route perfectly.
