Yes The Book People definitely do - had a delivery from them yesterday and it was delivered by Yodel. They helpfully left a card saying parcel at front of house - ok where exactly.

Jo Malone do - Yodel messed me about terribly last Christmas and when I finally got the order the box was crushed in one corner and had a footprint on it.

Complete joke of a company. My work unfortunately uses them and it gives me about 5 hours of extra work per week chasing up deliveries / queries when it's not even in my job role. They sign for deliveries pretending to be the people receiving them, they leave cardboard parcels outside in the rain or in places visible to anybody and they get stolen. They lie, they bend the truth. They are a completely awful company, and I would avoid them at all costs.

The reason why most companies go with Yodel is because they are about 40% cheaper than every other firm, and when you can save that much money then it's no surprise they are the preferred courier. Sucks though.
  • Brilliant thread. I too will not order from any company who use Yodel. Their customer service is atrocious/ non existent and i have had 3 failed deliveries from them in the past i just don't bother now!

    Awful company!
