    I've also reported it......

I can appreciate you wanting to ensure your DD is provided for OP, but speaking as someone with a DS that went off to uni in another part of the country when he was barely 18 and six years on (and much to our disappointment as we really miss him) he has never returned to live at home (:(), I can honestly say that it's quite likely your DD will do likewise. Out of all our son's school friends, I don't think any are now (aged 24) living at home and the majority found work either in their uni city or in London........

Hope it works out for you :)

  • Thanks pmlindyloo

I really don't think it matters. She will be fine. It's just my feeling a bit low and as you said thinking what if. I,m being silly. Thanks for your kind words.

I have also reported the post.

Unfortunately, I have no advice other than to wish you and your daughter all the best. If she is serious about becoming a Barrister, give me a PM, I may be able to help (not with mini-pupillages but with a few snippets of advice you may or may not be aware of).
    2018 totals:
    Savings £11,200
    Mortgage Overpayments £5,500
  • Just for moral support I've also reported that picture - it is offensive.

Yes you are right Contessa. I also know she will obviously at some point move away. Although we are very close she,s an independent young lady. She works very hard in various part time jobs that fit in with her college. She wants to be a Barrister and is doing exceptionally well
This is all my fears and not hers. I,ve been going through a bit of a tough time lately, health problems and personnel.
I can try to see this a lot clearer now. Thank you for your reply.

You sound really proud of your daughter, good for you. I too have reported that offensive post from previously. I am sure you have no need to worry about your daughter, she will justify your pride.

I hope everything works out well for both you and your daughter. You sound very proud of her!

I have reported this grossly offensive post, as have many others. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I have also made sure your grossly offensive image does not get repeated here.

I am in social housing. My name is the lone name on the rent card ( do they still call it this) I live here with my DD who is 18. She is still at college and then on to uni. Can I have her name on there with me?
The reason for this being I am. Almost 64 and I would just feel it safer for her to still have a home if anything were to happen to me. Not that intend going anytime soon you understand lol.
Would appreciate any thoughts on this. Thank you.

yes you can we have been advised by the housing dept to do just that when my dd is 18.
