Just wanted a rant about how poor the service has been as a new customer to sky.
Signed up when we moved, as Virgin could not supply our new house, and signed up to the Sports Pack after seeing that Broadband unlimited was free for 12 months with this pack.
Paperwork arrived and showed Broadband Lite with a 2GB usage. Hmmm.
Phoned them up and asked them to correct this and got told "don't worry, as you can just call back when it is installed and we will upgrade it and give you the offer, as otherwise we will have to cancel your install date and re-arrange".
Got installed, so calle dup the same day, and was promptly told, "No, that offer is not valid anymore". This is rubbish as they are still offering free for 12 months with the Sports pack, and they have advised we have to pay £7.50 a month.
E-mail their complaints team and get told, please wait 32 hours for a response, but the offer is for new customers not existing, aghain this is not true.
All in all, Sky have just been very devious in getting extra money.
