Hey guys
Just an update,
I got a letter through yesterday in regards to it.
Cut a long story short
"Although we were right to issue a ticket and procedures were followed correctly to our clients services we have decided as a gesture of goodwill to cancel this charge".
I am happy that these scaremongers seen sense however it is the wording of this I feel they should be ashamed of. Correct but backing down?0 -

Don't be such a sceptic Walt, they've told you, it's a 'gesture of good will'. Surely you will be eternally grateful to them. :rotfl:
[STRIKE]How unthankful can you get[/STRIKE]. Very well done! Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Their backing down seems to be a standard template letter - I got exactly the same from UKPC:):) - naturally I was overcome with gratitude!!!!
I chose to just let it go at that - they are low-life scum but just about smart enough to know which fights to fight - if they want to think they are all magnanimous, thats fine with me, so long as they have got none of my money.:):)0 -
Sounds like it was your complaint to McDonalds that did it so I will add your success to the sticky thread about successful complaints about PPCs.
