Some ppl are just plain scruffy & bone idle to actually clean up the fat & grease each time they cook. _pale_ Then it wouldn't get to a state like you experienced. That's pretty bad when you have to actually scrape the fat & grease off euuugghhhh!

I for one certainly couldn't live like that as I'm so OCD when it comes to cleaning lol. :D
