Hi I have requested compensation from airline using money savings experts letter templates requesting the full amount of 400 euros per person compensation , I have received a cheque through the post today but it is not for the full amount. It is for less than half the money for what we should be entitled to according to MSE guide for compensation! I couldn't see a link on the claim page of MSE for if airline has made an offer which is much less than you are entitled too. was just wondering if anyone knows what I should do now if I am entitled to more compensation should I write a letter to my airline saying nice offer but its not what I am entitled to? ANY IDEAS WHAT NEXT STEP IS ANYONE? MANY THANKS MATT

hi matt
call me a crazy old c18th french military engineer, but why not offer some actual details, including the airline, the route, and the length of the delay.

I applied on-line using the basic letter from MSE to claim for a delayed Air France flight in 2005. AF. initially refused, I simply e-mailed them asking them to reconsider before I took my case further. Within a week I got a reply saying that I would be entitled to either £672.00GBP to spend on flights with AF. or £504.00 cash.
Well worth the 2/3 e-mails... Can only say I'm well pleased and congratulate AF. on the efficient way that they dealt with my claim...0 -
