I applied yesterday on line for the Gas only two year fix [to Oct 2019]. Switching from Zog gas
I would have stayed with Zog except the 2 year fix with them was much more expensive
Web site was easy to navigate and complete the details, including DD
Now waiting for the postal confirmation, within 7 days they sayNumerus non sum0 -
Had a bill from them now, which was spot on. No complaints so far. I do have a healthy credit but would expect this with winter coming.Je suis sabot...0

E- mail from them today, confirming tariff details & DD etc. Switch over set for 24th Oct if Zog agreeNumerus non sum0
-
Nothing further received about switch over due tomorrow. No request for meter reads or any other confirmation. Meter reading taken & photographed just in caseNumerus non sum0

E-mail received PM 24/10 requesting meter read & if possible a photo of reading
Supplied as requested and this morning received confirmation switch over has gone through OK
DD is set but not yet used
All smooth so far and no reason to think DD will be a problemNumerus non sum0 -
Switch was carried out with no problems and Better Energy were good at telling me what was going on! I only had to contact them once with a query and this was sorted out there and then. When the fixed term finished for the gas supply, a renewal letter was received 1 month before setting out the different tariffs that were available.0

I am in my second year with them and they haven't put a foot wrong.Je suis sabot...0

Been with them since March 2017- no problems at all (or at least no significant ones) - however, the deal I was on ,finishes at the end of this month. The renewal tariffs they have offered would be £100pa + more ,so I'm reluctantly moving away.
They will owe me ~ £70 -hopefully won't take too long to get back. Fortunately I noticed that I had a bigger credit than really needed going into Winter, so I asked for (and got !) a chunk back last month.:T0 -
I'm hoping my renewal in November will be competitive enough to stay with them.
Update: well I could save £40 by moving elsewhere but it is not worth leaving a company that provides accurate bills, a fair DD amount and is quick to respond to queries. Two stress-free years so far.Je suis sabot...0 -
Been with better energy for 2 years and no problems with their service and bills. Shame I will be leaving them as their tariffs are no longer competitive"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"
