Can I claim charges after the initial letter?

I started claiming from Shabbey a few weeks ago. No progress yet, so 2nd letter going off today.
Now they've added more charges. Do I add them to my existing claim, or will I need to do a separate one?

Hi, you can keep adding them onto your claim up until the point you file at court,

Can I add any new charges incurred during this process when/if I start court proceedings? I notice that some people appear to be getting back more than the initial claim so I presume these are recent charges.
Thanks0 -

You can add charges up to the point of filing at court. If you wish to amend a claim once it has gone to court then you can do so by paying £35,

Thanks Kez that answered my query too. My OH is trying to claim back off Lloyds TSB. We haven't got as far as court yet but in the meantime they've made loads more ridiculously over-priced charges on his account. So we should just keep adding these until we get to court yes?0

Hiya
I'm just about to put in my case for the small claims court on the website but wondered if it was legal for me to also request charges I had in between waiting for letters from the bank? Would I have to go through the motions all over again for these charges as they were never requested back from them in the first place?
Thanks for any advice!0 -
You can claim ALL charges you have incurred right up to the date you file your claim, even if you haven't mentioned them in earlier letters to your bank. Some people have even been known to ask the bank to new add charges to an ongoing court claim.Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH0 -

You can add new charges at any time. However, if you add them after you've filed your court claim, it costs a non-refundable £35.
Whilst I appreciate that it can be difficult, if you are reclaiming charges you should do everything possible to avoid being charged again.<O:p</O:p</O:pThe acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.

Thanks - have added the extra charges!
I have tried, but unfortunately this whole things started off by being charged a lot one month. This then knocked me back the next month and so equalled more charges and so the whole thing rolled on. I went into the Halifax to speak to them about getting things straight and a very nice lady there said they could stop all charges and let me pay them back over time, but I would have to phone the head office.
Did so and was told they could only increase my agreed overdraft and then decrease it back again over 4 months!!!
The whole thing has led me having to move out of my flat and into shared accomodation. Am trying desperately to get my finances back into kilter. Am hoping once (or if!) I get a settlement I can completely pay off my overdraft and have a nice big savings account to fall back on - the lack of one caused the problems in the first place!
A timely lesson for everyone - Never underestimate the power of a slush fund, you never know what you may have to pay out for next!0
