    I am currently in the process of trying to get bank charges back for a friend from Lloyds TSB. Next stage I was at was to send the letter threatening court action. Since sending the original letters though he has had more charges, can these be added on at this stage or would they need to be a seperate claim?

    Yes - New fees can be added at any time during the claim - although this is a little harder once you've started the claim in court as you need to fill out forms for the court to add it to the claim.

    From the sounds of it you have not started the court proceedings so its easy enough to just add the new fees on before you do :)
    Got It & Spent It :dance:
    IKEA CARD = £120 charges = £175 received (146%)
    MARBLES = £450 charges = £370 received (82%)
    I.F. = £494 charges = £494 received (100%)
    CAPITAL ONE = £981 charges = £1,489.03 (152%)
    BARCLAYCARD = £580 charges = £786.12 (136%)
    On Hold :mad:
    A+L = £722 charges (target = 147%)
    BARCLAYS = £1,405 charges (target = 128%)
    BARCLAYS = £175 charges (target = 140%)
    ABBEY = £3,220 charges (target = 148%)

  • Hi

    I am now about to take Halifax to court. However, my account has attracted more charges since the letters were sent. Can i just add these charges to the total? Also by the time it gets to court/or settled out of court, can any more charges be added?

    Thanks

    Richie
  • Yes up to the point in which you file a claim at court.
    I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
