Dead D600??

My D600 just died on me. It switched off, never to witch back on, tried a new charger and batter but still dont seem to switch on.

Any ideas what could have happened??

    software fault (most likely)

    or a flex ribbon problem (the cable that links the 2 1/2s of the phone together)

    if the ribbon is faulty you should still see the bottom keypads lights come on

    i had an old e800 with a faulty flex, but the bottom half's backlight never came on

    Not neccessarily if it has cut the power to the upper keypad

    i mean the inner keypad with the numbers - all the ones ive had with faulty ribbons have done this
  • Apologies, I see now you mean when the charger is plugged in, I thought you meant when the power button was pressed.
