Credit Insurance

Ive recently awoken to the fact that I paid a lot of money to MBNA for PPI insurance from 2001 onwards. Ive begun a reclaim process by requesting details of the transactions on my account and MBNA has just responded. They say they stopped PPI on my account in 2006 when this was reduced to 'Unemployment Cover'. An item 'Credit Insurance' began to appear on my statements from then onwards.
Id like some advice on whether I can reclaim 'credit insurance' and in fact what it is.
Thank you.
